Can people who ask me see my network?
No. They only see the people you choose to offer. Nobody is approached until they choose, and nobody is introduced until they say yes.
Does Villages send emails for me?
No. Villages drafts, you send, from your own mailbox. It never emails anyone in your network.
Does Villages keep my emails?
No. It gathers context and keeps short notes, like “introduced Maya to Amara, 2 Nov”. Never the emails themselves.
Do the people I introduce need Villages?
No. Only you do.
Which email does it work with?
Gmail and Outlook, work or personal accounts.
What does Villages get from my email?
Who you write to and meet, and when. Not the message: the permission it asks for cannot fetch one. If you connect them, call recorders and your LinkedIn export too. A call transcript is turned into short notes, then thrown away.
Is there anything to install?
No. It all runs on villages.work. An optional Chrome extension adds Villages to LinkedIn profiles.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
We email you when your place opens. Then you sign in with Google or Microsoft, add your LinkedIn export if you like, connect Villages and pick your people. A few minutes.
Will I see my past introductions?
If you are invited to the email edition and say yes, Villages goes back through your mailbox for the introductions you have made. For that it looks at the text of those threads, in memory, and keeps one line on each. Never the email.
How do I correct something?
Reply to any Villages email in your own words. “Yuki and Arjun spoke last week” is enough.
What does a team plan add?
On your own, Villages works across your own network. On a team plan, a request can reach every teammate's network: only that teammate sees their matches, and they choose whether to offer them. You also get referral commission tracking and a team scorecard. Networks and private notes stay private to each person.
